Straight from the Pages of Young Bottoms in Love
Kicking off 2005 at Alternative Press Expo in April, Richard Ruane and Brett Hopkins debuted their comic Two Shy Guys, a series that spins off of the stories "Pick-Up Lines" and "Adventures in Chelsea," which first appeared in volume 2 of Tim Fish's online anthology of gay romance, Young Bottoms in Love (volumes 4-6 are currently hosted at Popimage).
As the YBiL series winds down, the good folks at Popimage (Ed Matthews and Jonathan Ellis) have agreed to take us on! So coming soon, what began on the Web will return there. In the meantime, catch up on the story so far, catch out the preview stories, and even order a print-on-demand copy of issue 1 for your very own.
The Story So Far
Pick-Up Lines
Several nights a week, Brian and Craig meet for coffee. Well, actually, they go to the same coffee shop at the same time, sit at separate tables, and try to come up with excuses to talk to each other. They both know what they want, the question is, will they go for it?
Adventures in Chelsea
Several weeks after they last didn't meet, Brian is wandering around his least favorite gayborhood when he runs across him -- a.k.a. our equally shy other hero Craig. Will this finally be their chance to say "hi"?

What They're Saying...
We started out the year with a nice write-up from cute and sweet SFist reporter Jeremy.
